Roots Precision Products Private Limited was established in 1987 to address the in-house tooling needs of the group and later began catering to other industry requirements.

Roots tool design department is equipped with state-of-the-art CAD/CAM software. The machine shop has advanced CNC machines, spark EDM machines and measuring equipment.

Tool designers with strong manufacturing background and extensive tool design experience form part of the team at Roots. Machinists and tool makers produce press tools (all types), pressure die-casting, gravity die-casting, plastic injection moulds and jigs & fixtures to meet international standards.

This helps Roots provide component design solutions for better manufacturability, cost effectiveness, durability and performance.
